Get a Job: We know, it’s hard to balance school and social life like it is but if you start working now to save up money you’ll be really glad in the long run. Nothing feels better than paying off those loans or buying your own gas or even having money to use on a house down payment later!
Manage Your Finances: Slowly learn to take over your own finances whether that means paying your own insurance or balancing a checkbook. Don’t rely on your parents for investing advice and find out on your own what the most successful savers do.
Only Get One Card: When you hit college credit card companies are chomping at the bit to get you signed up so you’ve got to play it cool. Only have one card with a low limit and avoid getting into trouble.
